About WHITE ROSE GUARDIANSHIP
White Rose Guardianship is a private family owned business. We have looked after the interests of over 1000 students during the last 17 years. We are based in York which is in the north of England.
For overseas parents with nobody in this country able to take on such responsibilities properly we can offer you the service you want, expect and need. We have a lot of experience and constantly work very hard every day to make sure all is well with the students we represent. Home stays, flights, visas, mobile phones, storage of luggage, transport, airport transfers, exeat weekends and half terms are just some areas we deal with on behalf of students and their families from many different countries. We are here too when occasional problems arise and that is when our experience, knowledge and 24 hour access really comes into effect.
Home Stays
During half terms, exeat weekends and end of term holidays when students must leave the school, White Rose Guardianship can arrange full board, fully supervised, host family accommodation where your child will be well looked after.
We do a lot of work before any family is considered an appropriate host for the students we represent. First we find out as much as possible about your child's interests, personality and preferences. Then we work to provide a suitable family with whom your child will settle in well hopefully for years to come.
All prospective host families are visited in their homes. We take up written references and carry out Criminal Record Background checks (CRB checks) on the family before deciding whether or not to accept them as a White Rose Guardianship host family.
When we have found a family, which we think will suit your child, we will provide you with all of their contact details and you should feel free to contact them at any time during your child's stay. If for any reason you would like to change host family we will always be here and will be happy to help.
